The project’s sustainability is based on the modularity of its layouts and façades, ensuring the adaptability of the housing units over time. Compact building forms, enhanced thermal regulation through thick façades, green roofs, passive regulation provided through semi-buried service spaces and natural ventilation contribute to the project’s environmental performance. The project incorporates locally sourced bio-based materials, including timber and low-carbon concrete.
